The Castle of Saint Aubin sur Loire

Perfect example of the neoclassical style, the castle of Saint Aubin sur Loire, located in the heart of lush greenery and water, will surprise you with a daring contrast between a main building in blond stones covered with slates and huge outbuildings of bricks and tiles pierced by a colossal arch. Thanks to the restoration campaigns carried out since 1999, Saint Aubin is gradually regaining its former beauty.

Prye Castle

The history of Prye dates back to the 10th century. In the Middle Ages, a fortress called Firmitius gave its name to the village of Firmness where Prye is located. Transformed into a Priory, it was destroyed during the Revolution. At a place called Prye stood a medieval fortress. A tower and the moat testify today to its presence. Sumptuous marble paneled stables were built in 1888 as well as a 630 m² riding arena.
